From the world record-setting farm behind the Best of Panama 2025.
In an unprecedented sweep at the Best of Panama (BOP) 2025, Hacienda La Esmeralda achieved two world record scores98.00 points for Geisha Washed and 97.00 points for Geisha Natural—solidifying its legacy as one of the most exceptional producers of Panamanian Geisha coffee. These results were celebrated by 22 international judges during the Boquete tasting.

This Buenos Aires Washed Geisha 6FB lot offers a delicate and refined cup, showcasing the precision of the washed process and the inherent beauty of Geisha coffee. It opens with bright, floral notes of orange blossom, layered with white peach, and balanced by the subtle elegance of black tea and a crisp lemon zest finish. Its clean, vibrant profile is a testament to the craft of the Peterson Family.

Meticulously processed: ripe cherries are handpicked, pulped, and undergo controlled fermentation in water tanks to remove mucilage. The beans are then washed and dried on raised African beds, ensuring exceptional clarity and balance in every sip.

Hacienda La Esmeralda, nestled in the highlands of Boquete, Panama, pioneered the global rise of Geisha coffee. The Buenos Aires plot (1,600–1,800 meters elevation) benefits from a unique microclimate and volcanic soil, providing the ideal environment to cultivate coffees that continue to lead the world stage—as proven at Best of Panama 2025.
