An elegant flavour profile, with unique notes that remind us of the colour pink - think of a strawberry and watermelon medley, defining the sweetness of this coffee. There's a blackberry note that gives some depth to the complexity, with overall balanced flavour attributes and a well composed cup profile.

Luis Anibal is a 2nd generation coffee producer who was born in Acevedo, Huila. He started working in the family coffee farm at the age of 12, and at the age of 15, his father gave him a small portion of land to produce as his own. From here he started saving some profits and in 2015 he decided to make a big change to produce specialty coffee and invest in exotic varieties.

Now working with Cofinet, Luis Anibal is referenced as a star producer. His farm Villa Betulia is 40 hectares and grows dozens of cultivars, such as Gesha, Papayo, Caturron, Pink Bourbon, Chili Bourbon and others. This list of exotic varieties thrive in Acevedo, Huila where Luis is based.
FERMENTATION: This coffee goes through a 48 hour anaerobic, whole cherry fermentation in sealed plastic tanks. Next, the coffee is pulped and placed in GrainPro bags at a controlled temperature and sealed for 18 hours, allowing a greater concentration of lactic acids to form during the fermentation process
